Subject-appropriate research method, source selection, ethics where relevant. We coach this at the start, not after the draft has gone wrong.
Drafting cycles.
Multiple draft reviews against the IB marking criteria. Detailed written feedback after each cycle, with the criteria spelled out by band.
Assessment-criteria alignment.
We work line-by-line through the criteria with the student so they understand what an examiner is looking for, not just what the rubric says.

How lessons run.
Sessions are scheduled to match the school's Extended Essay timeline. Typically that means concentrated work in IB Year 1 (topic, methodology, first draft) and a tighter cadence in IB Year 2 (refinement, formatting, final submission).
